I had found a K-1111 Balladeer reissue and really liked it, so when this one came up from a fellow OFC forum member, I was all over it. Now the reissue gets no love. Shiny fiberglass cloth bowl, 3 piece spruce top, 5 point Brazilian rosewood bridge, enclosed Kluson vintage tuners, inlayed chainlink rosette. The neck is better than the new reissue, and the sound of this nearly half a century old guitar just blows my socks off. It plays and sounds fantastic. This one is #1911.
